Yesterday & the day before yeasterday, was a kind of shopping spree due to Woodfield Mall's special sales. In the mall, there are so many stores and 3 big department stores: Sears, Nordstrom, and Macy's.
Actually, my husband and I just wanted to go to eat some sushi at Todai restaurant. After the buffet, we were so full, we needed to take a walk to help our stomachs digestion for a while.
Unfortunatelly, then I found a great sale at Macy's.
I needed a new coat, because the coat that I brought from Japan was out of place in America. Suddenly, I decided to buy a new one!
The price was amazing! Can you believe that the price, which is normally $260, was changed to just $99?? And if we approved a new Macy's card, we could get another discount,too! Of course, we did it.
The final price was $67 before tax. Yes!!
The new Macy's card came with a discount towards all purchases made in the first 2 days.
That's why we did a two-day shopping spree.
Macy's is still having a clearance sale, 'til the 20th.
How about the idea of getting your new winter clothes??
Me? Sorry Macy's, my purse strings have been tightened!

The new Macy's card reward had been expired 2 days only. You are saying the card stopped working two days ago

As for "shopping spears", I confused "shopping spree".
Now I realized it by thanking to your pointing out my mistake.
Once upon a time, in my ESL class, we talked about celebrities and someone mentioned Britney Spears. Then my teacher gave us this word. That's why I may take "spree" for "spears".
Hahahahaha~~I as so embarrassed...but it's so funny story for me^^
