I'm thinking of booking my tickets to Japan. But I don't know which month is good? Jan or March?
Please give me some advice. ^^)

Personally, I'd like to recommend to visit here March.
You might be able to see Cherry blossoms. ^^
Jan is a little too cold. ^^;

I recommend you to go Kyoto in autumn because leaves tufn red and it is so beautiful.
Also, the cherry blossoms bloom in the beginning of Apr. It's so beautiful as Dec.10 mentioned.
You shouldn't come in Jan.!! You will be freezed!!

I also recommend autumn, particularly October or November, because of the weather and landscape. And DO avoid summer, since Kyoto is terribly hot. Although the sunshine is not strong as in singapore, it's so muggy!

Well, going to Kyoto in March is also good. Basically, Spring (3〜5月) and Autumn (9〜11月)　are the best season to visit most part of Japan in terms of whether. Kyoto, Tokyo, Hokkaido are the top 3 places I recommend. Okinawa is also a beautiful island (beach resort), and wonderful place for people from cold countries, but nothing fresh for Singaporean, I guess.

You should come to Japan in March , because you can see cherry blossoms.
You can observe fresh greenery in spring.
When it is in March , it is very easy for you to go out.
If you come to Japan in Jan, it is so cold that you do not want to go out.

If you'll come Japan for sightseeing, March may be better, because as the above people said: you can see Cherry Blossoms.
You may not be able to see the beautiful scenes of Japan in January.
But, I guess the ticket may be cheaper in January :b

I think It's difficult question.
Because it's depends on which part of Japan you go, and your purpose.
March is almost spring, so I guess it is a bit warmer than Jan.
Anyway I hope you have a good trip!

You should watch a cherry blossoms. The term is very shorty. It's depend temperature.
If you stay a long term, you can see it anywhere. But not a long term, you have to chose a town. If you come to Fukuoka, I will be your guide with my poor English. I'm happy to guide you around Fukuoka.
