Here is my practice of Hiragana using photoshop. Please bear in mind that because my username is pein, a character from Naruto, I decided to add which path of pein(pain) people refer to me as on other sites. Funny story a lot of people took the name pein so the original six got to be one of the six paths of pein. Since I'm considered the original I got tendou,god path, and some still call me tendou instead of pein87.

boku no pein,ken ware ware no kami desu!
Trying to say: I am pein and we are god(its what he says when he fights Jiraiya)

Yep, if I knew Katakana I'd write it in that but for now I have to settle for what I know. I've really been practicing on my alphabet so I can write the words I learn in Japanese and not Romaji. Then when I move to Kanji I'll write them using that instead.

Thanks, I've been taking time off though to avoid burn out. My learning type is visual and that is why I am able to learn them so fast. These characters go with a sound which is also easy to remember. Add that to me being an artist and its a joy to write due to them being like art for me(calligraphy).
