Cleaning in a park

This morning, I went to a park to clean up there with my colleague before I started to work.
The reason why I did it was that my company planned to do it.
In my company, there are some project teams which plan or do something except business work.
One of the project team planned it and I applied to join in it as a volunteer.
However, the park had been already cleaned up by park staff when I got to the park.
Actually, I reached to the park at 9 o'clock!!!
I heard that the next clean-up project will be performed in March.
Maybe I will join it again because a windbreaker and gloves were given by my company.....
