I am reading a book "同時通訳が頭の中で一瞬でやっている英訳術リプロセシング".
This book has 100 questions that you interpret Japanese business words into English.
Japanese sentences lose some words like "subjective words", "objective words".
So you have to add some words to Japanese sentence to interpret it.

So I challenge this!
And I learn best way of expression.


1.お知恵を拝借させてください
Please perform me your wisdom.
→I wonder if you give me some advice?

You use this sentence, when you want some advice.
So you do not have to use words like "wisdom".

2.少しだけお時間よろしいでしょうか？
Do you have any time to spare for me?
→Do you have a little time?

A minute or a second can be used,
but when you use these phrase, it sounds more casual.

3.お手すきの際でけっこうですので。
It is alright whenever you have time.
→If you could do it whenever you have the time,
that would be most helpful.

My interpretation did not present what is alright.


4.実は折り入ってご相談したいことがございまして。
Actually, I have an issue that you and I discuss.
→Could I possibly ask you a favor?
or I wonder if I could ask you a favor?

Ask a favor is useful sentence.


5.身勝手なお願いということは十分承知しているのですが。
I completely understand that my proposal is not easy.
→I know I am asking you a very big favor.

What is the difference between "know" and "understand"?

6.うーん、難しいお話ですね。
Oh,this topic is hard to handle.
→Mmm, I am afraid it will be extremely difficult.

Please be more kind.
