Yesterday I went to the Karaoke for the first time for a long time.
I usually don't go there unless somebody invites me, and my senior who was the former-president of my circle invited me this time.
I totally like to sing a song because after singing, I feel refreshed and satisfied.
I sang the songs of The Gospellers, Bee Gees, Carpenters, Mr.Children, and so on, which is comparatively easier for me to sing.
Because it was Monday yesterday, I supposed few people were in the Karaoke, but as many people as holidays came there.
Anyways, I could enjoy myself yesterday, so I want to go to the Karaoke once more soon!
By the way, tell me other expressions for 'for the first time for a long time(久しぶりに)' if you know any.

"for the first time in awhile"
I have a question about the last correction. Is 'sing Karaoke' a phrase? We Japanese people consider Karaoke as a Karaoke building(?) as well as singing itself.
Because of this, there are many correct expressions.(These are past tense:)
"We sung karaoke"
"We went to karaoke"
"We did karaoke"
"We had fun singing karaoke"
"We had fun at karaoke"
"We had fun doing karaoke"
Thank you very much^^
