Hello, I am an American woman living in Shiga, Japan. I have lived here for one year, but I have a hard time in day to day conversation and expressing myself. I have been taking a Japanese class once a week, but progress is slow. Usually, i only use English in Japan. i often feel frustrated. I would like to make more friends and speak in japanese and english.
I like cooking, gardening, sewing, movies, music, and have a chihuahua that came with me to Japan. I went to college in NYC and majored in English literature.
