会議のこと

一昨日、ジュネーブに来ました。そして、昨日から会議に出席しているので、ちょっと忙しいですが、今は日記を書く時間が少しあります。
毎日、９時から６時まで、スピーチを聴いています。今まで、面白いと私が思っていた講演が少しあって、残念です。次のは良くなるかも知れません。
会議に出席している人で、日本人の物理学者がたくさんいます。ですけど、私は日本語で話す自信があまりありません。それに、知らない人に話したら、ちょっと照れます。

L'altro ieri sono arrivato a Ginevra. Visto che sto partecipando ad una conferenza, sono un po' occupato, ma ora ho un po' di tempo per scrivere qualcosa.
Ogni giorno dalle 9 alle 6 ascolto talks. Finora quelli che penso fossero interessanti erano sfortunatamente pochi. Forse i prossimi saranno meglio.
Tra i partecipanti alla conferenza, ci sono molti fisici giapponesi. Però non mi sento abbastanza sicuro da parlare in giapponese. Inoltre, sono un po' timido quando parlo con gente che non conosco.

The day before yesterday I arrived in Geneva. I am a bit busy as I'm attending a conference since yesterday, but now I have a bit of time to write my diary.
Every day I'm listening to talks from 9 to 6. It's a pity that the ones I thought were interesting were few. Maybe the next ones will be more interesting.
Among the people attending the conference, there are several Japanese physicists, but I don't have much confidence to talk in Japanese. Also, I am a bit shy when I talk to people I don't know.
