different culture but common friendship

I chatted with my best friend just now. He introduced a new friend who is American to me.
"she is one of my best friends like you. I have asked her to help your English. She agreed and wants to know what time you are free. Could you tell me your schedule?",he said.
I am very excited when I heard that. "I want to chat with her right now!"I answered in an exciting voice. She searched a lot of children story for me. After I read it, she corrected my articulation and explained the parts of the story where I don't understand in English for me. If I don't understand what she said, my friend will translates it in Japanese for me. Although I was nervous of my English ,I chatted in English finally!! There was many laughs which made me calm down while we were chatting. I appreciated him more than I can say. I was so lucky that I met such a fervent person! He not only helped my Japanese but also asked his friend to help my English! I will cherish him!
Although we have different culture, we have common friendship!
