Crazy Summer !!
Recently the weather has been crazy.
Every morning, I worry about whether (or not) I've chosen the right clothes to wear.
I have a question. In the second sentence, it says "I worry about.."
Should it be "I worry about," not "I'm worried about?"
Thank you for your help.
Notice that this goes with the time specification "every morning". This is repeated/habitual action, for which the present tense is often used.
"Worry" is a verb; "to worry about something" and "to be worried about something" are very close in meaning. In this case, "to worry about something" is better, because it describes a process which she goes through repeatedly. "I am worried" describes a state of mind at a particular time. "Every morning I am worried" means "I am worried for the entire morning every morning", which is not the intended meaning here. If you wanted to use the word "worried" in this sentence, the best way to do so would be "Every morning, I get worried about...". This is less natural, however.
I think I'll be able to use both of them very well from now on. Thank you so much.
