A trip to Nagano

I'm very interested in why so many people are learning Japanese and what they want to know about Japan/Japanese.

I came back from a trip to Nagano prefecture today.
Nagano is located in the Tokai area, and is the place where the Winter Olympics in 1998 was held.
Unfortunately, the Ohanami season was over, and I couldn't see the famous cherry blossoms in Takato.
But I found another kind of cherry blossoms in the Hokke temple.
(See the images above.)
The color of the blossoms were brighter than that of normal cherry blossoms, which looked very lovely!

The colour of the tree in the picture looks very bright!

Yeah, it was really nice. :)
Tokai is 東海(とうかい) in Japanese, but it looks like 都会(とかい=urban area) when it's written with Alphabet.
I think Nagano is 田舎（いなか=countryside）rather than 都会 though. Lol.
