お久しぶりですね
Hello everyone. ^^
I haven't written anything here in like forever...not that I think anyone really cares. Anyways, I'm purchasing some Japanese books and manga for my birthday and I am kinda wondering what exactly 十二国記―アニメ版 (http://www.amazon.co.jp/%E5%8D%81%E4%BA%8C%E5%9B%BD%E8%A8%98%E2%80%95%E3%82%A2%E3%83%8B%E3%83%A1%E7%89%88-%E3%82%A2%E3%83%8B%E3%83%A1KC-156-%E5%B0%8F%E9%87%8E-%E4%B8%8D%E7%94%B1%E7%BE%8E/dp/4063101568/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1251259543&sr=1-10) is. Based off the description and comments I think it's the anime in a comic form. If so does that mean the dialogue is the same at all?

A review says the book has some scenes that weren't included in the anime!
In adittion, only the 1st story made into anime.
(many of more stories are issued in novels)
If you get interested in the world of 十二国記, please read the original novels!
Of course the originals were written in Japanese, but only three sotries are issued in English(http://www.tokyopop.com/product/1787/TwelveKingdomsTheHardcoverEdition/1).
I have watched the anime and really enjoyed that. I also read the first two of the books that have been translated and recently got a copy of 月の影 影の海（上）. I'm planning to eventually read the rest of the series in Japanese.
