I just learned some idioms at the English Cafe, which is located in my dormitory area.
One is "Don't jump the gun". haha If i see someone who is in a hurry to do something, I will say to him "Don't jump the gun!"
Another one is "That's for the birds / It is for the birds".
Are birds regarded as something nasty in US?

now come to think of it, the pouring rain seems to be fierce fight between cats and dogs.
If you ask me my favorite Korean idiom, I'll definitely choose "얼굴에 철판을 깔다".
A literal translation of this idiom is "Putting a thick iron-plate on one's face"
It means "Someone is very shameless and has a brazen behaviour as if he puts a iron-plate on face'
