A few hours ago, I found a lot of sticker ads plastered on the front door of my home. Most of them are about restaurants and their delivery services. Damned delivery boys! They put the stickers without asking for my permission. Who the hell allowed them to the sticker ads? It's very annoying to get them off the front door.

We surely live in the world of ads flooding. We can find ads anywhere we go to because ads are everywhere, from radio to TV, surface of subways, billboards, signs on road, in magazines, and even on buildings. We have bought many products unconsciously because ads have had heavy effects and influences on our buying patterns.

These days, we can easily see a new type of ads, Internet banner ads, most of those are popping up out of nowhere. I usually take a look at them for a very brief time and click X because I feel I am a nuisance when the ads pop up on my computer screen. You would have seen these ads when opening some Internet sites. Because I think the banner ads are distracting, I tend to just ignore them. You do too?

I know ads are necessary because without them, many companies and stores would go to bankrupt. This is part of capitalism and it has been working well. However, ads not only make people buy something impulsively, but much of them are false ads. People have been tempered by high-profile celebrities and they buy certain product on impulse. They have even been fooled by deceptive ads and buy certain products without taking price, performance, and supplementary service into their account. Actually, I also have bought a lot of product that I didn't need even though I know how bad it is for me. These kind of ads make it seem like I'm getting a deal of lifetime!!
