Studying English!

As we know, English is required everywhere. I have been studying English for more than 6 months since the first day of this year.
Before starting studying English, I hadn't been literary when it comes to using English. I couldn't understand what foreigners say to me, even very simple English sentences. To make matter worse, learning language takes a long time. I can't remember how many "trial and error" I've made when I learn English. However, thanks to the help of countless Lang-8 users, I've made a great and rapid progress in English. Up until I am fluent, I will keep writing my entry on Lang-8. (These days, I feel that writing something in English is much easier than few months ago.)
I know I need to make a lot of effort to master English. However, with lots of efforts and trials, I will acquire fluency in English someday!! Even if it takes forever for me to master English, I'll never, ever ever ever, give up!! I don't think kids learn English faster than adults! I believe that adults can do master English!
Currently, I am learning 'General English' but learning this subject is enough for me, now, so I am considering learning 'Academic English" or 'Business English'!
I will go to America for the purpose of studying English. Up to that time, I'll keep writing an entry in English, read as many books as possible, and try to speak English! My goal is freely making myself understood well enough as I want to other people!

"up until" means that when a certain time comes, there will be some big change. It also implies a much more specific time. Since learning English is gradual, and the line between learner and master is kind of fuzzy, "up until" is not appropriate.

I think it is better if you just choose either "for more than 6 months" or "since the first day of this year". Your readers will figure it out anyway, I guess~

I prefer the "to study" because it is less wordy. XD
