=watashi ha nihongo wo manabu noga sukidesu.
=oai dekite uresii desu.
=choushi ha dou desuka.
=nanji desuka.

What time is it?=nanji-desu-ka=なんじですか?
If writing by your hand ,katakana might be easier than hiragana.
But if someone read your message ,hiragana must be easier than katakana.
I think you don't have to be afraid to learn hiragana.
On the begining ,you might feel difficult for learning hiragana.
But you could learn hiragana soon.
And in the first message ,it is good even if it isn't perfect.
