The Second Star To the Right

Yesterday, my daughter came home from her piano lesson and told me that her piano teacher asked her to sing "The Second Star To the Right" at the piano concert she will be in next January. It's a song from the movie "Peter Pan."
Obviously, it's not as famous as "If You Wish Upon a Star" and at least I didn't know the song. But anyway, I was put in the position to help her with her English pronunciation. So I read through the lyrics and one little question came up to my mind. The title is "The Second Star To the Right," but the Japanese title is 「右から2番目の星」.So I simply thought it wasn't an exact translation from its English title. But then I noticed it did say "the second star FROM the right" on the very last line. I got a little puzzled.

The Second Star TO the right vs. The Second Star FROM the right

Those are different in meaning, right? OR, you would just say "Never mind such a tiny little thing."?

Can you check and see what you think?↓

Yes they have different meanings: You start counting from different positions. And I guess it isn't important for a song.

Liam-san,

Thank you for your comment and correction.
Now my daughter is so eager to learn the song and sing it in English. Wish her luck!
