前回は、娘のために買った雛人形の話で、今回はもうすぐ産まれる孫娘に買った雛人形の話です。
I bought another a set of Hina Dolls for my new granddaughter. Actually she hasn’t been born yet but we will be able to meet her very soon. Thanks to medical equipment, we were able to know that the new baby would be girl. March 3rd of this year is the date of her first Hina celebration. Besides my son-in-law’s parents are coming to see her from a long distance precisely at the same time. I wanted to celebrate her first Hina festival event by all family members such as her father, mother, brother and both grandparents. The set of Hina Dolls that I wanted to buy was the top favorite items on the net. My daughter and I also liked it. So I asked the net shop to keep it until she is born and deliver it to my house. I wonder it’s the right thing to do or not. Any way I’m looking forward to seeing my new grand-daughter.

Hina Dolls for my granddaughter.
I bought another a set of Hina Dolls for my new granddaughter.

The set of Hina Dolls that I wanted to buy were the top favorite items on the net. ("the set..... were....items" => this can be confusing, because "were" refers to "items (plural))
So I asked the net shop to keep it until she is born, and to deliver it to my house.
I wonder whether it was the right thing to do or not.
Anyway, I’m looking forward to seeing my new granddaughter.
These Hina Dolls are the first ones I have ever seen.

Thank you for the correction. March the 3rd is the festival for girl and set up Hina Dolls. We also make offerings of white sake and Hina arare to Hina Dolls.
White sake is kind of liquor and Hina arare is kind of snacks. It's one of traditional events in Japan.
