Yakushima Island (1) First of all

Do you know Yakushima island in Japan?
It's a small island that we can drive around the island in about 3 hours.
But there are many mountains more than 1500 meters.
That is why Yakushima island is called as "The Alps on the sea".

The climate of Yakushima contains the subtropical zone and the subarctic zone.
We can see so many kinds of animals and plants in Yakushima.
The other name of this island is "Galapagos on the East".

My husband and I made a trip to Yakushima and stayed there for 4 nights.
I'd like to write about our adventures, but it would take a lot of time.

1st day: Watch Egg-laying of a Sea turtle

3rd day: Kayaking and River Trekking
