Japan is winter now, and really cold.
How about your country?
I'm university sophomore.
Today I have a little question for you, about "sophomore".
Does no one say "I'm in second grade in the university"?
Or is it less common?
Please tell me! XD
I'm going to try to write a journal again.

Does no one say "I'm in the second grade in the university"?
大学生は、ご存知のとおり a freshman, a sophomore, a junior, a seniorといいます。a first-year student や a second-year stuent でもいいです。
gradeが9thまである、というのは、初めて聞いたときは軽いカルチャーショックを受けました。
一応、州によって違ったりするらしい、というくらいの知識しかまだ無いのですが、一般的かつ大切なのでこれから覚えておきたいポイントです。
Vermilionさんの日記の方、拝見しました。レベルの高さに、正直に驚きました。
それに比べれば、僕の文章などまだまだ稚拙ではありますが、これから精進できるようがんばっていきたいと思います。
