English restaurant in Japan
I have a part-time job at a English restaurant.
All menu are written by English, paying with dollars is okay!
Almost all customers are American people living in Okinawan bases.
Of course I'm doing my best all time, but I sometimes face language problems.
So, I need your help!!
At first, how do I say "Welcome." when guests come in?
I always say "Welcome. Good evening, sir/madam. How many people are you?"
I don't know it's good or not.
Let me know!

I see, I'll try to use that expression.
It's really important for us to know head-count.

How many people are you there?" {Also it could be How many people? (a more informal way) or How many people in your group?}
I don't know if it's good or not.
I found I should say "... in your group (party)?".
