Taiwan's media recently are in a frenzy of discussing UFO, crop circles and superpower.
In Hollywood movies, aliens are often depicted as protagonists, who stop at nothing to invade the earth.
Via the news comes word that some former FBI agents leaked out the Roswell UFO incident and aliens autograph, which used to be thought as phony events, are actually happened.
To the best of my knowledge, a amateur's point of view , how can we so presumptuous as to asset that other creatures live outside the space.
My teacher also questioned why American's technology always get ahead of other countries by a large margin.
" It must be the aliens who stealthily cooperate with America " he said.
Whether the aliens are intruders or just observing this gorgeous planet, the earth, if any, would not feel solitude if they exist.

Taiwan's media recently are in a frenzy of discussions about UFOs, crop circles and superpowers.Superpowers usually means very economically and militarily strong nations, such as the U.S., especially if you write it as one word. You might mean "super powers" or even better, "supernatural powers". Or, since you later refer to the advanced technology of the US, perhaps you do mean "superpowers".
Excellent!
There are news reports that some former FBI agents leaked information saying that the Roswell UFO incident and an alien's autograph, which used to be thought as phony events, are actually for real.I'm impressed that you wrote "via the news comes word..." Good use of "comes word..", but in this case it's simpler and more natural to say "According to news reports" or something like that.We can't say that an autograph "happened". I used "for real" which is very colloquial, but okay to use.
To my way of thinking, from an amateur's point of view, how can we be so presumptuous as to assert that other creatures live outside in space. You state an opinion, not a fact here, so better to say "my way of thinking" rather than "my knowledge". Did you mean to say it's presumptuous to assert that other creatures do not live out in space?

Whether the aliens are intruders or just observing this gorgeous planet, the earth, if any, would not feel solitude if they exist. I'm not quite sure what you meant to "if any" in this sentence. Also, you didn't provide a subject for "would not feel solitude". Solitude is a good word, but usually has a pretty positive connotation of being alone, as in the solitude of working in a garden, or in meditation. You might want to say "lonely".
Well, if the aliens were actually handing out autographs in Roswell,
I guess they do have a very friendly attitude towards Americans!
I am SO impressed with how your vocabulary has grown, and your command of grammar also. Bravo Soft! Your hard work is really paying off.
I'm so glad we can meet here again. ^^
I conserve every entry you correct, which means a lot to me!
You are my first friend in Lang-8.
THX for your explicit correction. I'll keep practicing. THX
How kind of you!

In Hollywood movies, aliens are often depicted as antagonists, who stop at nothing to invade the earth. (The protagonists are the good guys, and in Hollywood movies the protagonists are almost always humans, usually Americans.)
Via the news comes word that some former FBI agents leaked out the Roswell UFO incident and that the alien landing, which used to be thought of as a phony event, actually happened.

Yeah, I saw that the other day on slashdot. The leaked document was an interview report. The reporting officer merely documented what the person he interviewed told him. There was no physical evidence.
Personally, I don't believe it would be possible to keep something like that secret for more than a few days.
Also, faster-than-light travel is fundamentally inconsistent with our current understanding of physics, and we've explored the solar system well enough at this point to be pretty sure there are no technologically advanced aliens living close enough to get here without interstellar flight.
American technology is ahead of other countries because our GDP is larger than any other (single) country's.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_GDP_(nominal)
There are several other large countries (though only one other is as large in terms of both land area and population) and any number of other first-world (wealthy and technologically developed) countries, but the US is both, and our GDP reflects that. The US economy is very large.
Occam's razor suggests that more complex explanations involving space aliens should only be considered if simple and obvious explanations prove inadequate. It seems to me that the size of our economy is an adequate explanation all by itself, without the aliens.
I think you raveled my question.
Perhaps it's down to American's formidable GDP.
But perhaps I think Americans are also much more creative in inventing new gadgets and boldly blading new knowledge.
I think many countries' education is sort of stagnant, which blocks many creativities.
