Recently I tried chatting on sharedtalk.com
그 사이트가 재미있던데요.
I found that place is fun.
사람 몇몇 명이랑 채팅 했어요.
I chatted with some people.
가끔 우리 외국어 수준이 낮기도 좀 이해를 할 수 있었어요.
Even though sometimes our foreign language skills were low, we could understand a little.
하지만 다름 사람의 영어 수준이 정말 높아요.
But some other people's English skills were very high.

'우리'는 누구를 말하는 건가요? 채팅했던 사람들? 그렇다면 '서로'라고 해도 될 것 같네요.

작금 is old word for 'during yesterday and today' or 'for a few days including today'.
I think you meant 'just before(조금 전에)' like other people corrected, or you looked up the word in a dictionary.
Dictionary sometimes has words that are not used anymore.
그 사이트(가) 재미있던데요.
'가' sound like you prefer it to other ones.
But dont worry. I mean articles are very difficult and you will gradually get them. :)
