Hello.
Thank you for reading :)!
I'm going to a dinner with my friend ♡
I'm living NY now, but I'm staying in Japan for 2 weeks to see my family.
"Do you like Japan?"and"Where do you like in Japan?"
I like hot springs in Japan.
Have you evre been to hot springs in Japan??
When I was living Japan, I often went to there.
Hot springs are very beautiful and hot springs are good for your health.
Also, if you stay at a Japanese stayle hotel for the night, you may eat good Japanese food.
For example, Sushi or Nabe or Sasimi.......
If you can drink alcohol, you can try to drink Sake.
If the Japanese style hotel has Kimonoes, you can wear Kimonoes.
My boyfriend likes animations in Japan.
He likes "EVA" and "CODE GEASS Lelouch of the Rebellion".
Sometimes, he talk about Akibahara in Japan.
In addition, he like to go to a maid cafe in there.
A cute maid will probably say "Irassyaimase Gosyuzinnsama.(My master, welcome to the cafe.)"when you enter tha maid cafe.
Although, I've never been to a maid cafe yet.......
Have you ever been to Japan??
"Do you like Japan?"and"Where do you like in Japan?"

My boyfriend likes animations in Japan.
Commonly referred to as 'anime' for them otakus outside Japan
In addition, he like to go to a maid cafe in there.

Hot springs are very beautiful and hot springs are good for your health.
Joining two ideas but still talking about hot springs so you don't have to say hot springs again.
For example, sushi or nabe or sashimi.......
If you can drink alcohol, you can try to drink sake.

The picture is of the maid's uniform.
The uniform is the set of clothes people wear when they are at work.

Are you living in upstate New York, or in the city? (It would be a totally different experience. Upstate New York is like the rest of America. New York City is another matter entirely.)
"Do you like Japan?""Which areas in Japan do you like best?"
I'd like to visit Japan for a year or so, but I don't know if I'll ever get to do it. If I do, I'd really like to see Hokkaido.
When I was living Japan, I often went to them.
We use "there" as a direction word, so it doesn't need the "to". However, you can also say it this way.
Hot springs are very beautiful, and they're also good for your health.
Also, if you stay at a Japanese-style hotel for the night, you may eat good Japanese food.
For example, you might have Sushi or Nabe or Sasimi.
If you're writing for an English-speaking audience, you might want to explain (briefly) what these foods are.
The words "nabe" and "sasimi" will only be recognized at all by people who have studied Japanese.
Worse, most Americans think "sushi" just means raw fish and are not aware that any preparation is involved. For example, I saw a comic strip about Sushi just this morning (May 26):

So, if you're writing for a Western audience, you might want to explain a little bit about these foods. Most people don't know.
If you drink alcohol, you can try to drink Sake.
Drinking alcohol is (or not) is a matter of choice, not ability.
If the Japanese-style hotel has Kimonos, you can wear one.
Since "kimono" ends in an "o" and is neither from Italian nor related to music, you would naturally expect the plural to end in -es. That would make sense and follow the usual rules. However, for some reason, I've never seen it written that way.
My boyfriend likes Japanese animation.
In addition, he likes to go to a maid cafe there.
Have you ever been to Japan?
I'm afraid the farthest east I've been is Atlantic City. (I spent an entire summer in the Philadelphia in 1992, and one day we drove out to New Jersey to see the ocean.) Going the other direction, the farthest west I've been is Arizona.

Sometimes, he talks about Akibahara in Japan.
