I watch an American drama "NCIS" with English subtitles. It's my favorite one. I'm a fan of Gibbs!
However,I can't understand some wards.
A psychiatrist,Kate's sister said to McGee,
'You successfully transformed from probie to special agent'
And Gibbs often say when they go to a crime scene, 'Grab your gear!'
What do these words meaning "probie" and "Grab your gear"?
My dictionary does't have these wards. Please someone tell me its meaning.

"Probie" is short for probationary employee. It is used to refer to someone who is new to the job.
"Get your gear" means to go get the equipment you will need.
FYI, http://www.urbandictionary.com/ is a good place to find slang words or phrases.
I'm not sure what "probie" means, but "gear" is another word for equipment. TV programmes like that will probably use words that are specific to the genre. Since I don't really know a lot about crime and forensics, the word "probie" is unfamiliar to me^^;
