Question : If you were to choose between Hatsune Miku (Virtual Singer) and a real human singer, which will you prefer and why ?

I choose real singer.
Because human have the heart.
So the live is pleasant.
But I like Hatune Miku.
That technology is great.

i prefer a real singer. coz i don't really know the virtual one you presented and i think a real one could be more human for they have feelings and affections. although they could have installed some into the virtual singer, i don't really see much authenticity in it.:(

emotions can't be installed? i may be wrong, but i heard some robots with artificial intelligence made in Japan are able to laugh, cry or make all sorts facial expressions. are those considered "emotions"? can those "emotions" be installed to the virtual singer that you mentioned above? maybe i got the meaning of the word "emotion" wrong. feel free to point out, which'd be more than welcome. :P

Obviously I love a real singer better.When I was young,I always choose CD rather than a Live show,for I think singers perform better in the recording room.You know,when people sing in the stage,they may make some turnovers.
Since I became a adult,I find it was wrong to just looking for "no-mistake performance",for the meaning of singing is to show the real mood in our heart, not just for 100% correct Pronunciation

Yeap that's right. And if you think that singers perform better in the recording room, you're partially wrong there. It's more because of the equipment used for the concerts they hold. Otherwise, more oftenly they perform better during concerts since they get to sing for real people, instead of just an empty recording room.

I like some of the real singers, they are great.But I also like Miku.I once watched the video which 3D Miku held a concert. That's great. But for a choice between two, really hard.╮(╯_╰)╭

I will choose Miku because it can take me a sense of mystery. And the real singer is always having so much scandals, so I don't like them, only their songs. Since the Miku can give me good voices, why not choose them?
