Today, there are many kinds of rooms for lesson in Japan.
Many children take lessons after school.
The monthly fees are very expensive.

So, I thought of a room which was managed by some volunteers.

First, I will gather volunteers who have some skills such as instruments, calligraphy, flower arrangement , tea ceremony, Japanese traditional chess (syogi, go).....etc.

After school, children come this room, and play, practice their favorite things, freely.

It would be very fun.

The reason why I though of this idea was all lessons were very expensive and there were a lot of children who were lonely after school because their parents had jobs.
I am very happy if I help such children from loneliness, and improve their talents without fee.

In the meantime, there are lot of housewives and retired who have much free time.
I think they are also very happy to offer their skills to children.

If the management is hard, we can get a little money.(very little)

In Japan, we have an election at the end of this month.
It is the election of the House of the Representatives.
Japan's diet is divided into two sections, the House of Representatives and the House of Councilors.
In fact, the government has been controlled by a party called The Liberal Democratic Party for over 50 years.
However, in this election, it is likely that the Democratic party, the Opposition, will win.

I think this election will be very important and historic.
I really hope that all people give their votes to some candidates.

I am hearing some flutes playing from the near public park.
We have a summer festival at resident's association.
My resident's association is very small.
It has about 200 families.
We have it every year in summer, and we enjoy many events there such as stalls, some Japanese traditional dance and fireworks.

A week ago, people on duty this year gathered at the park, and built a stage in the middle of park.
Women made a lot of paper flowers for arranging the stage.
The stage is so high, so men who play the instruments need to climb its ladder.
Men and women of all ages dance around the stage.

It is just Japanese traditional festival.
Japanese have enjoyed for a long time, but these days people are very busy and refuse to undertake the due of organizers, so it has been very difficult to continue such festivals.

That's a pity!

In Japan, many people who are usually men get a job after their retirements.
The reason is that we can keep our present lifestyle by getting a job again after our retirements.
If we will not work after our retirements, the living standard will become worse, and lead a miserable life economically.
The national pension system is not good in Japan, so we cannot keep our lives comfortably if we depend on only the national pension system.
Unfortunately, we have to deposit and construct a personal pension plan for ourselves.

My husband will retire next year.
I think he should choose his way of the life.
I can imagine he has been working for our family under a lot of stresses, so he sometimes could not sleep tight.
I am sure if he won't get a job again, our lives will be harder.

This morning, he went to a library.
Also, he said that he wanted to join a ping-pong club.
I thought he just started some preparings for enjoying his retirement life.
I was so happy to see him as such.

Today, the bonus will be paid at my husband company.
In Japan, most companies pay bonuses to their employees twice a year.
They usually give the bonuses on June and December.
However, because of this serious recession in the world, many small companies cannot give the bones to their employees.
Fortunately, even though the bonus will be cot down by 10%, my husband will get it today.
Thank goodness!
