Great teacher in my life

I had dinner with former teacher since elementary school. He is a great role model in my life. He works as a teacher, manages his luncher as an enterpreneur, travels over the world. I've been teached value of adventure by his life. I really appriciate his meeting.

I had dinner with former teacher from elementary school.
He works as a teacher, manages his life as an entrepreneur and travels all over the world. (Sorry, I do not understand 'luncher' so replaced it with my best guess.)
I've been taught the value of adventure by his example.
I really appreciate his meeting with me.
Lancher means a shop which sells boxed lunch.
