Shigeo : I joined a seminar “The society which Social Graph changes” in Osaka, Japan. (0)

I joined a seminar in Osaka, Japan yesterday. The title was “The society which Social Graph changes” Recently I’m interested in Facebook impact to the world, so I was really looking forward to joing seminar. The speaker is Tsuruaki Yukawa ( @tsuruaki ). He is a chief editor of TechWave, which is famous Japanese IT news blog.

The point of this seminar is “Days of Google will end, and days of Facebook will start.” Although I have thought so for some time, I felt confident it.

Weather we like it or not, because Facebook has preference dates of 500 million, days of Facebook coming is clear. About ten years later, people will use Google like wikipedia to search basic information, and if they wanna know trustful knowledge and ideas, they will choose facebook Liked ones.

Do Google add free Facebook dates to Google’s search algorithm? I don’t know, but Google’s power will be down, down, down.

I’ll keep to focus on Facebook news.

In Japan, the goverment promised to give every Japanese 12000yen(about 120$) for an economic policy. And my city started to pay its money in May. I got it! So, for the first time in about a decade, I bought new basketball shoes. Did I contribute to an economic policy? :-P

This shoes is made by Asics. Do you know Asics? Asics is a famous brand for basketball shoes. Asics shoes isn't more cool(cooler?) than NIKE ones, but they are very functionable and reasonable. I love it.

I'm looking forward to use this shoes at a next basketball game. :-)

Today is my birthday. I became 26 years old. I received a lot of birthday e-mail messages from friends. Thanks a million!

I went drinking with my wife tonight, and we toasted a birthday with Belgian beers(1st pic) and Yakitori there. Especially Tsukune which is a kind of Yakitori was very delicious.(2nd pic) We had a nice time.

After drinking, I received a surprise gift by her. It was a picture-book. But it wasn't normal. It was blank! Have you ever seen a blank picture-book? The book is a base to make a picture-book. So I'll try draw a funny story on it. And I'll gave her a finished book next time. :-p

It took about one month until now.

Because we think that it's important to celebrate for reaching a small goal, we toasted it with a good glass of whisky. I felt special taste.

In next, when users are more than 30, we are going to celebrate like this. :-)

Shigeo : I love Xoops. (2)

Xoops is a free software. It is very useful to make community websites. I'm using it to make Kartepost(http://www.kartepost.com/). Xoops has two great features.

Firstly, Xoops has a lot of modules. We can add them after Xoops is installed. So we can add various functions. For example, bbs, chat, blog, mailform, user register system and wikipedia. It is available to add every almost functions that we want to use.

Secondly, Xoops is open-source. It is improved by engineers around the world day by day. It's so great! I appreciate them. I love open-sourse.

If you want to make community websites, I strongly recommend you Xoops. :-)

My work is to make useful website for many people. Until now, I have made 150 over websites. They are in a lot of categorys. For example, information of diseases, rule of sports, business manner, how to diet, how to use excel and powerpoint.

Now I'm making a social network website. The name is "Kartepost.com". Kartepost.com's users can share thier experiences of disease. If we share a lot of experiences, many many people will relieve from their anxieties and worries about disease.

Of course, users may only look at other experiences. But I know that many patients who experienced serious disease want to help new other patients. I believe their goodwill.

Kartepost.com haven't coverd except Japanese yet, in the future I want to cover various langage users. :-)

Kartepost.com URL
http://www.kartepost.com

I met again with a univercity friend. Although it was the first time in five years, I didn't feel that it was so long ago. We talked each other's job.

She works in travel agency. She is very active and has passion to satisfy customers, and her result of sales is better than one of other coworkers.

But, because her company has old personal system, she isn't appreciated enough by the company. This is so wasteful! If she works company has a fair treatment, certainly she will be able to get better salary and chances to move up.

Now she is finding a new job while working there. I hope it's success. :-)

When we take a direct lighting, we'll be active. The other way, when we take a indirect lighting, we can feel lelax and get creativity.

So I put on two indirect fittings in the corner of my bedroom. Because I didn't have a time to buy a new light, I used a light that I covered with a orange paper. They aren't enough good yet. I'll add good one and I want my bedroom more comfortable for night.

How do I use indirect lights effectively? Is there indirect fittings in you room?

Special ideas don't made by sitting front of the desk.

So I went to cafe in hospital with my business partner. (We were very fine. :-p) There were a lot of people and noises, smells, lights. It was very unusual zone. Various things excited our brain! We sparked up many many ideas.

If you have troubles in thinking ideas, let's go un-usual zone.

Shigeo : Negative thinking or thinking risks for future? (3)

Negative thinking and thinking risks for future look similar, but there is a large difference in between(both?).

When we negatively think a lot of things, our mind will be fulled by horor and unbelief, angry,,,etc. We will draw bad effects. Bad effects will change our thinking to more negative. This is a bad circle. :-(

Meanwhile, thinking risks for future is needed for business person. When we think our risks for future, we can protect yourself from them and take next actions to get good results in future.

So I always try to keep thinking risks for future and invest myself with optimist. I think this is one of short way to reach a goal.

Shigeo : Learn the lessons from WBC (0)

Today Japan won Korea in WBC(World Baseball Classic). This was a so good game. So i'm very excited!

In this tournament, Korean team is powerful than Japanese one. The reason which they always swing powerfully is introducing a ball used WBC at the tournament in Korea. I think this Korean challenge is really clever to win in the national game.

Why don't Japan use a ball used WBC? The reason is clear. Japanese ball used game is light. So owners of japanese teams want players to hit many homers in games.

But this is silly. If Japanese team don't use a international ball, in next WBC they won't be able to win. Japan have to learn the lessons from Korean strongly swing.
