I'm a late(ish) starter. I had a year in China years ago and could speak a little Mandarin by the end of it. I couldn't read or write. Now I've decided it is important for everyone in the world to speak another language. Also China is kind of fascinating. So here I go.

I live in New Zealand. I love sailing, surfing, triathlon and playing guitar. Oh and studying Mandarin - I am trying to do it myself via the internet. I need help with my written Mandarin - I can help with English in return.
