Non-Japanesish anime

I believe many people are under impression that generally the Japanimation consists of geeky, animated and enormous-eyed characters.
Well, that is perfectly true most of the times... Although I would like to introduce some of the few non-geeky animes.

Oh! Super Milk-Chan
It is full of Japanese topical and local issues... An American channel put this on the air, though I have no idea how they translated... I love the way the President speaks, by the way.

Popee The Performer
There is no dialogue basically. It was on a channel called 'Kids' Station' for some reason... You can often see bloody scenes.

Fireball
The robot called Gedachitnis speaks in very formal language and sometimes goes linguistic jokes. The voice actor of him is the person who did the dub of my favourite character of Star Trek by the way...

Usavich
It is set in Russia. The title is from words Usagi (rabbit) and ... bi*ch

Hmmm, I hope these help you improve Japanese.

  • But I would like to introduce some of the few non-geeky animes. (although is like 'even though'; it concedes something, which would only make sense in the previous sentence: Although that is perfectly true most of the time, I'd like to... But just contrasts)

Fireball was quite good. The ones with no dialogue won't help my Japanese very much... but maybe I'll check out Milk-chan.

Thank you for the comments, everyone ( ^ω^)
I wrote this without using a dictionary, so I'm glad that I didn't make any crucial mistake.
