「くそのようなあじ」というと、本当にコーヒー＝くそのあじ(pool taste)がしたのだと思ってしまいます。
「くそまずい」という人もいますが、とてもoffensiveです。
「激マズ」もoffensiveですが、「くそ」の不潔な汚いイメージはありません。
私はわずか２ドルを持って行きました。
小さなエスプレッソはとても小さかったです。
でも、とても強いです！(I can't understand what you mean "強い".

But it is terrible slang, using this word with honorific sound strange.
You had better say "くそみたいなあじだったよ！"

でも、とても濃いor 苦い強いです！
それで、私は小さなエスプレッソを買いましたたのみました。In coffee shops or restaurants, 「買いました」 is a bit strange. You should say 「たのみました / 注文しました」 or 「飲みました / 食べました」.
I thought Tim Hortons was a doughnut shop. Is it a coffee shop like Starbucks?
It a swearword. I'm a lady so I don't say it. I would say," ちょーまずかった". This is also very casual way.
