How to make a difference among these sentence.

Have a rest and Take a break almost mean the same. You use it when you want that the person you are talking to is going to rest for a while.
I think that take a break is used for a shorter time of resting than for take a rest. So the difference is in the time that is going to be used to rest.

Take a nap is . used when you are trying to say to the perso to sleep for a while. It is about resting by sleeping.
