I want to help, but I am not sure what you mean by "excluding the Japanese".
Does it mean you didn't add Japanese translation in the questionaire, or do you want only those other than Japanese to answer?
I also didn't understand what you mean by "foreign country". Many people in Lang-8 live outside of their native country. I am Japanese and I live in Germany. I buy online from Japan and also from Germany. Which one is foreign country ? If you could be more specific like "from overseas" or "outside of Japan", you would get more accurate data.
I answered the questionnaire. It was a little bit confusing, because I am an American currently living in Japan. I have ordered American things online while living in Japan, and Japanese things online while living in America in the past. One of those counts as foreign, right?

Just out of curiosity, how does one know who the winner is? None of the information i posted to be directly linked back to me, so how do you know that i even filled it out to even draw my name (unless, of course, you're staring at our IPs, in which place the lottery could easily be rigged)?
Also, it feels as if the questionaire only cared about finding the site most commonly used by us lang-8 users to compare prices, no?
Not that any of this is a problem, though, since it is only a survey. If somehow i win this, i hereby donate the card to Yangyang.

Simple, this information is sold to businesses. Those businesses aren't interested in Japanese customers (despite japanese customers still answering). I'm surprised it wasn't marked "americans only" or "britains only" or something like that.

what was the purpose of this questionnaire?
Also I think they meant not to answer it in the Japanese language because maybe it doesn't support the characters. I think that is only because in my profile I'm studying Japanese.
