[Important] Stopped some features temporarily

Dear Lang-8 users,
Thank you very much for using Lang-8.
It was very hard to access Lang-8 for last 7 hours.
We are very sorry.
Now you can access Lang-8 as normal.
It was because there were huge requests and they made this service slow.
We have stopped some feature temporarily for maintenance.
The feature is as following.
"Latest journal entries that are awaiting your corrections" in your home
"New entries written in the language you are learning 1" in your home
"New entries written in the language you are learning 2" in your home

We are deeply sorry for the inconvenience.
These features are very important for Lang-8, so we will do our best to
start these features again in a week.

テレビで紹介されたおかげか、サーバーがオーバーロードしてしまいました。

I guessed such this trouble since I read about the TV interview, and GEOS went into bankrupt in a bad time.
日本人登録者（英語学習者）がますます増えることで、またアクセス状態が悪くなることで、現在、Lang-8を支えている人々がこのサイトから離れていくのではと懸念しています。
お金を貰っているプレミアム会員、広告主、Lang-8のためにかなりの時間を提供しているメンバーがいる以上、ビジネスの基本「早めの告知」はお願いしたいです。「ＮＨＫの番組でLang-8が紹介されます。その後、登録者数が増えてアクセスがしずらい状況が予想されます・・・・」という一言がなぜないのかと思います。
基本をおさえないと・・・・と懸念しています。
宣伝にはなりましたが大変でしたね。
現在気がついた不具合を報告しておきます。
マイホーム表示設定
あなたと同じ言語（第一）を学習している人の日記
あなたと同じ言語（第二）を学習している人の日記
以上が表示になっているにもかかわらず表示が出来なくなっています。
それと、たくさんのアクセスでの事なのでしょうが、他人の所にログインしてしまいました。(^｡^;)
もちろん、それ以上は遅くてフリーズしたような状態になって、503に落ちました。(^｡^;)
エラーメッセージはどこも一緒ですが、たくさんの種類のメッセージでした。(^｡^;)
当然「.htaccess」以外のサーバーのメッセージです。
502 Bad Gateway
Proxy Error
Reason: Error reading from remote server
503 Service Temporarily Unavailable
それから、思うことを一つ。
ここは多分日本人が多いと思うのですが、日本語でのお知らせがあって良いのではないでしょうか？
僕は、機械に訳して貰って読んでいます。(T｡T)
これからも頑張って下さい。
出来ればはやくコンビニ決済をお願いいたします。
海外でも同じようにもっと宣伝できないんでしょうか。
私は個人的にたくさんのアメリカ人たちに勧めていますが、なかなかそれだけでは難しいです。このアンバランスを何とか解消する工夫も必要ではないかと思います。

lang-8スタッフの皆様、出演された方々、お疲れ様でした。
特集をもっと他のより長い時間取り上げてくださればいいのになぁと思いました。・・短すぎる・・＾＾
そして・・・Yangyangさんは真面目で少しシャイなお方なのだなぁと感じました。＾＾（もっとTVに写ってもいいのに・・短すぎる？・・＾＾）
番組の一人の男の方が、どんな添削をされるか分からないとおっしゃっておられましたが、
思わず、そんな事は無いのですよー！と言いたくなりました。
そして、思ったのです。
lang-8は、素晴らしいのです。
添削して頂いた方達は皆さん、とても優しく良い方達ばかりです。
皆さん、「言葉の達人！＾＾」の方達ではないはずですが、なんとか伝えよう、教えてあげようとして下さいます。
お互いに信頼し、教えあって、lang-8は素敵なサイトです。
それから、lang-8は、日本人の割合が全体の３割と聞いています。（違いましたか？）
さて、私の場合ですが、添削は一度に何人かの方からして頂いた時もありますが、大体、お一人かお二人です。
今は、お一人の方が添削して下さっています。
英文への日本人の添削が多いのは、日本人の数の多さでは無く、
･・其れは日本人の国民性なのでは・・と思います。
（地図まで描いて道案内をしてくれるのは日本人だけだ。とても親切な国民だ。と、聞いたことがありますよ。＾＾）
私はパソコンもインターネットもlang-から始めたので、こんなものと思っていたのですが違うのですか・・・？
（電源を入れてからlang-8にたどり着くまで２０分・・・。多分これは別の原因ですね！）
色々な方々のご意見を参考に
スタッフの皆様、お体にも気をつけて、休息は必ず取って、
進み続けてくださいね！。
多数の無料のユーザーが、有料ユーザーになるためのきっかけはやはり、
「使える！」と思うか、どうかですものね。
三ヶ月使ってきましたが、ネットのサイトで本当に有用だと思ったサイトのひとつになりました。本当に感謝してます。
私は直ぐに有料会員になりましたが、それはこの感謝の気持ちからです。逆に言うと、有料会員のメリットに十分満足している訳ではありません。その一つがこの接続のしにくさです。
サーバーのコンディションに留意しつつ、多数の無料会員を増やし、その中から有料会員を徐々に増やす。スタッフは大変だと思いますが、ぜひがんばってください。
たくさん添削し、たくさん文章を書いて、微力ながらこのサイトを盛り上げたいと思います。

エラーメッセージは多分「.htaccess」指定の物だと思います。
エラーメッセージには表示されていませんが、ブラウザには５００番が出ています。
。。。単なるパーミッションの問題だっらいいのに。(^｡^;)

違いますよ。
全体的に負荷が掛かっているからそのサービスを停止しているだけみたいですよ。
でも、日記の検索が出来ないと淋しいですね。(T｡T)
