Do you know radio exercise?
It's Japanese taraditional exercise everyone knouws in Japan.
During summer vacatin of elementary schools, we woke up early and gathered in parks or open spaces. There, we did exercise listening to radio music and directions.(I forget accurate time, but I think it started from about 6:30.)
If we joined the exercise, we could get stamps and sometimes sweet treats. If we complete the stamps, we coule get some stationeries. I had tried complete them, but I never because getting up early was so difficult for me.
I think childern gatherin in early morning and doing same exercise look strage for foreigners, but it reminds me elementary school summer vacation.

This is just another way to form the sentence so that native English speakers will have a better understanding of what you are saying. :)
While we were there,There, we did exercises listening to the radio music and following the given directions.(I forget the accurate time, but I think it started from about around 6:30.)
This just gives the listener a few more specific details so they can get a better idea of what you want to say to them.
If we joined the exercises, we could get earn stamps and sometimes sweet treats.
*"earn" is another way of saying "to get something"
They can both be used in the same way, but earn or earned is more commonly used.
If we complete collected all of the stamps, we could get some stationery too.
Since you are talking about more than one thing here (the stamps, treats, and stationary) use the word "too" so the reader knows they are all part or the rewards you could get. This lets the listener know that they are not all separate things.
I had tried to complete them, but I never did because getting up early was so difficult for me.
"did" is the past tense of "doing" so this lets the listener know it was an action or something you had to physically do in the past.
I think children gathering in early in the morning and doing the same exercises may look strange for foreigners, but it reminds me of my summer vacation during elementary school. elementary school summer vacation.
