Would somebody tell me why Paul Mccartney sang "Hey jude" in the Olympic OPENING ceremony?
What did he want to convey as a message to the athletes and the audiences all over the world?
Actually, I do not understand very much why he chose that song for the opening ceremony.

Actually, I really don't do not understand very much why he chose that song for the opening ceremony.
I think he chose it because the song is about not giving up. Even when things are tough you have to keep going. That's how you'll win in the end.
Hey Jude, don't make it bad
Take a sad song and make it better
Remember to let her into your heart
Then you can start to make it better
That's my thoughts behind the song :)
何かを失った人を励ます歌なんですね。(恋人や母親に限らず)
諦めなければ、その先に幸せや成功が待っているから、精一杯がんばって!
というメッセージだったのかな? なるほど! ありがとうございました:-)
In fact, I don't quite understand why he chose that song for the opening ceremony.
"Actually" is correct.
However, if I were you, I would use "In fact" or "In reality" instead of "Actually". Thanks!
Is "actually" casual or formal in conversation and writing?
世界的に有名な曲なんでしょうね:-) すごい!
