Why do you use the word diyan, not iyan?

Diyan is sa form, why not ang buhay mo sa diyan?

If you are going to literally translate it word by word... This will happen..

Paano ay iyo buhay diyan sa Pilipinas?

but it shouldn't be.

It goes like this..

Kumusta ang buhay mo diyan sa Pilipinas?
