I watched a movie yesterday
I watched a movie "Mars Needs Moms" made by Walt Disney yesterday.
In the movie, Milo who is main character told his mother that his life would be so much better if he didn't have a mom at all.
(Because his mother ordered him many things, like as... "clean your room", "eat broccoli", "dump the garbage outside" etc, etc... )
I thought if my child says such a thing I'll pull him/her outside, or told him/her to do as he/ she like to do.
But in the movie his mother didn't blame or punish him.
She just closed the door to leave his room with her eyes tears.
I thought it is effective way to promote the child's considering.
If the mother blame or punish the child then he would have got hostility to his mother in his mind.
...Anyway I don't have a child, not even a husband. hahaha.

I thought that if my child ever says such a thing I'll pull him/her outside, or tell him/her to do as he/ she likes to do.

I thought it is an effective way to make a child reflect on himself/herself.
If the mother blamed or punished the child then he would have been left with hostility towards his mother in his mind.
wow...you are one piece fan. It's a great catoon. I read it halfway.

He says this because his mother orders him to do many things, such as...
Do not begin sentences with "(" or "Because" - unless it is a special instance.
"clean your room", "eat your broccoli", "take the garbage outside" etc, etc...
)
I thought to myself that if my child said such a thing, I would put him/her outside, and tell him/her to do as he/she would like to do.
or... are you trying to say that you would punish your child by putting them outside and giving them directions?

The correction above, too many "with" does not sound good.
I thought this was an effective way to promote the child's consideration of others.
For some verbs, we specify the subject. English is so weird!
If the mother blamed or punished the child, then he may have been left with hostility towards her.
We cannot know for sure what anybody is thinking, so in this case, we use a short version of "maybe". Also, we know that since he is thinking, that it is already in his mind. We also don't need to repeat the subject properly, and can just use "her".

If I were the mother in the movie I would totally lose my temper
and couldn't give my child a right direction.
I would just put the child outside without any word,
OR just tell him 「すきにしなさい!」and leave him alone in his room.
and regret about my attitude. "Oh...What have I done...;; "
Very emotional. haha.
English rules always make my head spinning~~ XP
