Akiyo : Dictation of the audio "Snake Struggles" (1)

As India's growing population pushes into wildness areas, more and more people are coming into contact with poisonous snakes.
Although such encounters canna occasionally be fatal for humans, It's usually the snakes that fare worse.
Although the snakes cannot protest that they invasion of their habitat, they now have a human spokes person, animal welfare activist, Snehaw Bout. Bout founded a society in 1993 to protect dangerous snakes.
Bout and her colleagues often go to rural villages to remove snakes.
When I release an animal back into the wildness, I feel as if I've given a child back to its mother, she says.
But she feels that for the future education is the key.
With this in mind her society now puts on snake exhibitions.
Bout believes that these will help people to see snakes as fellow creatures deserving of life.

I should have chosen more simple person whom I easily explain...
But it may be boring story for both judges and me.
I want to entertain the person who share their time for hearing me.
Just practice, Although I'm feeling lazy~~

Akiyo : The Building of ENIAC, the first electronic computer -3- (0)

At first ENIAC was build for the purpose of the military usage. The US Army paid for it, and two enthusiastic engineers designed and built it. That was huge and complicated, and epic. After 9 year-working ENIAC was shut down. And now we can see it in Smithsonian Museum.

We spend our convenient life with computers without considering who made it. But I hope that you have some idea about ENIAC through this report. A story of the beginning of something make people curious, and some would even try follow the achievement of the inventors. I hope that this report would motivate you to make and do something new.

Different from today's computer, ENIAC was big. It filled 1800-square-foot room; the size was the same as the apartment that have 3 bedrooms. Each part was 9 feet tall, and it was U-shape.
This machine was complicated. It had a lot of electronic parts, and could remember numbers. Moreover it could make 5000 calculation/sec without errors.
Compering with today's computer that do 100 million calculation/sec, it was slower, but at that time it was epic.
ENIAC was shown in public through newspapers and magazines as an amazing electronic brain.

After ENIAC was made, the 2 engineers set up their own computer company based on their better idea, where they designed and built new computers.
Although it didn't make much money, they worked for computer for rest of their life.
ENIAC was turned off in 1955, and send to Smithsonian Museum.

Akiyo : The Building of ENIAC, the first electronic computer -1- (0)

In July, 1943 during 2nd world war, in Pennsylvania, The US Army headed the secret project. Their previous project was to make computers which was a group of women who calculate. But they were slow and made errors, the US Army wanted a faster and better calculation. It decided to build an electronic computer, ENIAC.

Now, who tried their hand at building ENIAC.
There were 2 persons who were willing to take a risk to build it.
One was John Mouchly, and another was J.Prester.Eckert.
J. Mouchly was a 55 year-old physist. He was curious about predicting weather, but it was difficult. So instead of it, he started to be into calculation by computer.
J.Eckert was a 24-year-old young engineer, who had a ph.D of engineering.
Since he was a child he loved to design electronic devices.
J.Mouchly was an ideaman, and J.Eckert made the idea work out.
Both of them had the most important element for a inventor, bravery and craziness.

I don’t know there was a prayer at noon.
Too much influence to identify their origin. It is confusing for me who is Japanese pure blooded.
If I was a Pilipino I would feel as if I didn't have my roots.

Anyway it was a good experience for me to visit Davao city.
All people I met are really kind and helpful (:
I bet that Philippine's best resource is the people.

The situation of the Middle East has gotten more complicated and problematic than before “Arab Spring.” Now “Arab Spring” is called also “Arab Spring & Winter”. No one can tell its future. But it is just sure that international supports are necessary so that Arab win the long lasting peace.

Syria has been increasingly isolated on the world stage in recent years, because other countries don’t like to step in the Syria’s situation. They don’t have any idea what the new government might be after the resignation of Assad, and are worried about the possible panic which may expand all around the middle east. In addition the quantity of oil product in Syria is not enough for them to take a risk of intervention. United Nations Security Council’s intervention is refused Russia and China which are also the member of United Nations Security Council.
The fire in this country doesn’t cease.

The citizens’ anger to dictatorships grew to protests and demonstrations for requiring democracy.
Some are developed to revolution and the others are developed to the civil wars. Libya succeeded to stop the civil war with NATO and set a new government, even though it is temporally one. Egypt, which had relatively good relationship with the western society, took the first step to democratize. But Syria can’t escape from the suffering of the civil war without the international community’s support
Comparing with these 2 countries, Syria’s situation is more serious and complicated. The dictator is Bashar al-Assad who is selected as the 12th worst dictator in the world on the magazine “foreign policy.” About 5 years ago Assad told about his policies that he would make Syria to be free for marketing, expand freedom of speech and the other improvement. But “Arab Spring” happened before he achieved his policies. Syria entered into the civil war. Assad showed the people his plan to lift martial law and to change the prime minister, for relieve peoples’ discontents and lessen the fire in Syria, but it didn’t work.

Then, how about Egypt, Egypt had a big demonstration of anti-government from January 25th in 2011 such as marches, acts of civil disobedience, and labour strikes. President Mubarak’s Government was overthrown on 11 February 2011. Democratic election was held June 16～17, 2012, and Mr. Mursi became first freely-elected civilian president of Egypt on June 30th. He said "The revolution must continue until all its objectives are met." Since Mubarak’s Government which lasted for about 30 years, Egypt has been taking a roll of a bridge between the countries in Middle East and The US and Europe. So it is relatively easy for it to get support from those countries.

Those 2countries are representative of the countries which achieved Overthrow of its government in “Arab Spring”.
Each country which stranded up for democracy in the earlier period of “Arab spring” had the similar backgrounds.
1.	Those countries were run by despotic government, and citizen’s freedom was suppressed by it.
2.	There are oil-privileges. The wealth from the oils wasn’t shared but was concentrated in the hands of autocrats.
3.	The percentage of the unemployment was very high, especially among the youth. And there are large numbers of educated but dissatisfied youth within the population.
The eruption of the citizens’ anger for those situations leaded the revolutionary wave of shutting the government.
And citizens in Tunisia stood up for democracy at last in 2010. Then this action in Tunisia called “Jasmine Revolution” spread to the other countries.
Finally, let me talk about GM food that is improved in nutrition.
There are 2 good examples, one is a GM rice which is called golden rice, the another is a GM potate. Golden rice contains vitamin A which is not contained in regular natural rice. Usually people who live mostly on regular rice miss this iportant viatain.
Meanwhile GM potatoes contains less starch,.It don’t absorb much fat when it is cooked with oil. Both of those GM foods are helpful for us to maintain our health and would make difference in our life.

GM food crops could be developed even in a draughts, or could grow in poor dry salty soils. Nowadays about 40000 people die in a day for food shortage. The supllies of food is decreasing because of the severe environment in spite of world population's increasing. So GM food could help the world from suffering hunger.

Now let’s move to the next, how GM food can crop protect the environment.
GM crops are kinder to nature than natural crops. Due to Biology they gain the power to resist diseases and pest. It means that they don't need pesticides or herbicides as much as natural ones. The less chemicals the finer soil would be. So the reduction of chemicals is helpful to reduce fertilizers.
In addition effective elimination of pest and weed also get the crop well growing, and food supplies will get to be more stable.
First they can get the most obvious information from the box of cigarettes.
2nd They know about the addiction of nicotine, the chemical substance in the tobacco.

In addition the box which has 10rolls of tobaccos cost the user about 300 yen.

If someone enjoy a box a day, the total payment that he/she owe in a year is about 110,000 yen.

It is big amount of money not only for the young but also the adults.

Now the nonsmokers well understand those disadvantages, and don’t get close to cigarettes positively.

I expect the number of nonsmokers will get/become more and more.
