Today I don't have a text to write, therefore I'll write some phrases to practice.
Today my neighbor lent 4 books for(or to?) me. The title of book is "The mists of Avalon"(in Portuguese is "As brumas de Avalon"). Have you already read these books?
You gave some flowers to her. She was very happy.
I bought some pens, because the ink of my pens finished(or over?).(Can I write this way?)
He have not talked to her, because she moved the country last year.
They were freezing, because it was very cold.
My middle brother lit a candle, because over the light yesterday.
My youngest sister have not been checking her Facebook for three days.
Your friend has not attended(or gone?) to school since past week.
I hope they are correct.

It could also be, "brought four books for me." But lend...to.
The title of the book is, "The mists of Avalon"; in Portuguese it's "As brumas de Avalon".
() is alright but ; is better.

Or maybe, "...she moved to another country last year."

"not attended school", "not gone to school", "not been to school" all OK (not gone doesn't sound like perfect grammar actually but I dunno).
