Seriously, I don't know. You have three choices: 1) Talk your boyfriend into going to Xi'an, 2) Learn how to deal with a long distance relationship, or 3) Get a new boyfriend.
Of course, there are other choices such as 4) no boyfriend or 5) tell your boyfriend you want to surprise him and let you tie him up and blindfold him. Once you have him tied up, take him to Xi'an.
