さようならについて。

さようならと言う言葉について質問します。
どこかで、「さようなら」と言う表現ってもう二度と会えない人に言う言葉と言われたんですけど、
先生に挨拶する場合とか、電話を切る時に使われるのが見られました。
ちょっと見分けがつかなくて…教えてもらえれば嬉しいなぁと思います。

先生に挨拶する場合とか、電話を切る時に使われるのをが見られました。
二度と会えない人にだけ言うのではなく
別れの挨拶で誰にでも使います
ただし、「さようなら」はとても形式的で、かたい言い方です。
したがって、どこか無感情で寂しい響きを感じます。
そういった言葉の冷たさがゆえに、
テレビドラマや小説の中などで最後の別れをほのめかすことが多く、
そのためにこの言葉の意味をおおげさに捉えたのでしょう。
I think this is not invariably the case.
「さようなら」is very formal expression.
We feel something cold and distant from the phrase in informal situation.
Because the nuance of the expression,
on TV dramas or in novels they sometimes imply the last separation.
This is why someone taught you thinks the meaning too exaggerated.
