Happy Halloween
I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Halloween. I know Halloween isn't that well known in Japan, so until I find a way to make it popular over there read about Halloween below.

Please let us know about Halloween summarily.
Halloween has its roots in Celtic beliefs, and over the centuries it has been adopted to be a Western holiday. It is not a Federal holiday, so no one gets the day off. Nowadays it is for people to gather together and to dress up and have fun. Of course it is huge with children since they dress up in their costumes and go door to door yelling, "Trick-or-Treat!" The residents of the house then pass out candy to the children. Some people decorate their houses with Halloween items to help give a spooky and scary look. A lot of people go to "haunted houses" that are set up by various organizations. Basically, it is just a day of good fun.
The photo attached actually took place in Japan.
Hello Jesse, ^___^
"Trick or treat!" haha
Happy Halloween!
As you said we don't have specific custom for Halloween, however I like it!
Please enjoy!
Thank you for your explanation, jess man.
Did you remember the case where the Japanese was killed with a gun
on the day of Halloween.
A Japanese student disguised and visited a house. And a husband of the house
said "Freeze." The student misunderstood or didn't understand what the husband said. He was reported to misunderstood "Freeze" and "Please."
Do you know Why Halloween has been adopted to be a Western holiday?
Hi, jess_man1999!
I went to Shibuya (one of shopping area in Tokyo) today and I saw many people weared Helloween costumes like vampires, nurses, angels.... Japanese and Foegners as well.
I think we do Helloween these years. But our Helloween is NOT same as Americans' one. It's like as Christmas in Japan is tatally different from American and European one.
Japanese Helloween is only for commercialism and fun. Of course many Japanese is Buddist and we are not sure the religious meaning of Helloween. Shops and restaurants urge us to buy something or go drink, meet new people...etc.
Anyway, Happy Helloween! Have a fun night!
American parents dress their children in a cute costume, right? They are very cute and funny!(^.^)
Happy Halloween!
Happy halloween day..in thailand is not famase but last year I was really happy
About 50kids knocked on our door between 6:30 and 7:15pm.
Our neighborhood like to participate in Haloween, since most houses's outside lights were on, and people from differnt areas dropped off their kids in this neighborhood for trick or treating.
Did you dress up for Haloween?
That's a little bit late to say Happy hoilday form Sharn, haha.
How's going, my friend? have you heard some good metal music recently?
Kazu and Miga,
Halloween has been commercialized here in the US just like it is starting to be in Japan. But, it is still fun for the children to dress up and go out and get some free candy.
Sand,
Yeah, a lot of parents will dress up their small children in cute costumes.
Ms. T,
Wow! 50 kids came. I live on a dead end street right on the edge of the city I live in, so we usually don't have any kids come. In fact, I don't think we have had any kids come in a few years. I had to work, so I didn't dress up this year.
Sharn,
Long time no see. I've been busy and haven't had the chance to find any new bands to listen to. Good to hear from you.
Two of my friends told me that they made 50 bags of candies, but only a few kids came. After that they would have eaten.
