Our holidays in autumn

I wonder if my following English sentence is understandable for
native speakers ;

The event of the consective hollidays for about 10 days was over.
In the period we spent lots of money disorderly ,which we had not
planed. Consequently, we have a hard time economicaly spending
daily life.

  • Consequently, we now have a hard time living economically spending

  • The recent consecutive holidays, which lasted for ten days, are now over.

 

  • In the period we spent lots of money disorderly ,which we had not
  • During that period and because of the festive spirit, we spent much more money than usual.

 
It is a difficult discipline to set money aside for festivities and spend from accumulated surplus rather than spend from future necessity.
