Relieved or not?

So, my ribs were fine.
で、肋骨は無事だった。

Looking at the X-ray photos, the doctor told me that there is little chance that there is a crack somewhere.
レントゲン写真を見た医者が言うには、どこかにヒビが入っている可能性は低いでしょうということだった。

To my big surprise, he also asserted that the chance of getting Pneumothorax is less than 10 percent.
かなり驚いたけど、気胸を併発する可能性は1割以下だとも断言した。

I mean, 10 percent? Isn't that very high?
だって、10％ってさ、すごく高くない？

I asked, "Isn't 10 percent supposed to be high?"
10％って高いんじゃないですか、と聞いた。

He replied, "Yeah, so I said LESS THAN 10 percent".
ええ、だから10％もないっちゅーことです。

What!? Am I relieved? Hell no.
なにー!? 安心したかって？ まさか。

I didn't know what Pneumothorax is.
気胸ってなんだか知らなかった。

It seems like a symptom caused by a cracked rib bone where your lung(s) is stuck and deflated.
ヒビが入ったりした骨で、肺に穴が開いてしぼむ症状らしい。

You could die from Pneumothorax.
気胸で死ぬこともあるらしい。

I couldn't care less about the continuing pain.
痛みが続いてるのなんてどうでもいいんですよ。

Doctor, please do not make me uneasy.
頼むから、不安にさせないでよ。
