I am so very surprise that u a interested in korean.

anyway.I'd like to let you know one thing for the korean lang.
in the korean, there are several polite expressions against english or others.
I make sure that other langs include english have polite expression.
but in the korea, i think kroea has more than others.

I.E : 안녕 다 ( refered from your orignals)
"안녕" -this short words are usually used among friendly relationship.

[Overview] (left is more polite than right side)
(in case, if you'd like to say hello or greeting a day)
-하십니까? > -하세요? > -하니? > N/A (?)
it seems like " Good morning > hello > hi > hey"
But if u say it in korea or in front of korean people, they understands ur situation.

but i'd like to recommend use " 하세요?" (question)
for the normal sentence, pls kindly use " 합니다."

i hopo ur kroean might be improved by your efforts ASAP.
