My English always can’t get great grade when I was study in junior college. So I decided to change my major into Chinese literature. XD
But I still can’t really give it up because there is one song always in my mind, that’s “Yesterday Once More” from Carpenters.
When I was 15, my English teacher teaches us this song in the class. She gives us the lyrics and plays the music. My English is not good from early age, but I try to learn this song in 2 hours. Then I sing. This is my first English song. But the bad grade made me lose the faith to keep going on when I was still young. Now I’m trying to learn English from movies, series or pop songs today; or watch DVD without Chinese subtitles, and the song is the reason to make me believe that I can do it.
My English still not good enough today, but I’ll try to learn more.

Carpenters is my favourite group too! Other groups I love are Simon and Garfunkel、Bee Gees and ABBA! That time was an golden age for English folks and country rock music. The song lyrics were all beautifully wrote, just like pieces of poems.
