There were so many great discoveries during in the last 100 years,such as mobile phone ,computer and the discovery of DNA.But I think the most important discovery is computer.
Before we have computers, we should do almost everything in the world. We should do account by ourselves, we should write a paper by a pen, we should analysis everything by ourselves. In that time, our work efficiency was slower than nowadays, and sometimes we felt very tired and want to create some people who would not be tired can help us to do these things.
Nowadays computers are very wildly used. The workers in the company need using computer to do their jobs. The accountant need it to do the account. The workers in the factory need it to control the production. The teachers need it to finish their teaching plan. The doctors need it to analysis the condition of the patients. The scientists need it to do many scientific researches. And almost everyone who has a computer can use it to entertain themselves. From these things, we can find that nowadays computers are used very widely. Almost everyone needs it in their daily life.
To an individual, a computer also has an important use. To me I need a computer to deal with some of my work including the writing, listening, and some administration works. And when I am tired, I can use the computer to relax and entertain myself. What's more, I can use the computer to surf the internet, on the internet, I would make some friends, learn more knowledge, and know more things what happens in the world.
But now,I feel not good.Because I find if I open the computer,I just play games ,chat with friend and receive the E-mail.When I want to learn somethings by computer,the time has past.Maybe two or three hours past,that time I need to go to sleep.The plan learn something about english is always delaied.
In all,I think every coin has two sides,just depend how to use it.The computer is good tools for me ,if I can control myself and focus my attention to do something that I planed .
From the above, we can conclude that nowadays computer is very important to us. Computers are even to be an essential tool to us. So I believe computer is the most important discovery in the last 100 years.
