For English people, 13 is ominous number. So English people tend to adoid using this number.
For example, there aren't often 13th room in hotels.

On the other hand, for Japanese people, 4 is ominous number.
Because in Japanese, it's pronunnciation is same as "死".
"死" means death.
So there aren't often sickroom in 4th flour in hospitals.

But I think people don't care about it. Almost people isn't superstitious.
